Guns Stolen In Burglary Of Fort Salonga Home, $10K Reward Offered

FORT SALONGA, NY — Guns were among the items stolen from a Fort Salonga home in a July burglary, Suffolk police said. The home borders Northport.

A person or people entered a home on Greentree Court sometime between July 8 and July 11 while the homeowner was out of town, police said. Stolen items include a Glock 23 handgun, a Sig Sauer P230 handgun, 5-ounce. silver state coins, American Eagle silver dollars and sports memorabilia, including collectible football cards, police said.

The homeowner told Patch he is offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or the recovery of his stolen items, which he said hold sentimental value.
