Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in an unsolved 2008 homicide.

On Sept. 4, 2008, Columbus police were dispatched around 1 a.m. to a townhome on the 1600 block of Graniteway Lane on the city’s Northeast Side for a reported shooting. Responding officers found 25-year-old O’Brian Anthony outside his townhome with a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries at the scene.

Police determined that Anthony had been involved in a dispute of some sort in the courtyard in front of his townhome, and the suspect may have been attempting to rob him when Anthony was shot.

The suspect is believed to have fled toward Shanley Drive

Anthony’s girlfriend and three children were inside the townhome at the time of the shooting, but were not injured.
