Barbara and James Tamborra, both 81, were leaving a wake at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home just after 6 p.m. on Dec. 10. They were being escorted through a crosswalk by a police officer, Dedrick Wilcox, when the couple was struck by a driver travelling at “a high rate of speed,” police said.
