Reward offered for tips leading to arrest I-29 Speedway double homicide that killed 2 Omaha men

Omaha Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest as authorities continue to investigate a shooting in Iowa that left two Omaha men dead. 

Marcus L. Johnson, 28, and Charles A. Williams Jr., 27, were killed in the shooting Aug. 10 at the I-29 Speedway in Pacific Junction. 

The shooting occurred in the speedway’s parking lot about 9 p.m. during the Pull Up Car Show and Music Fest, according to the Iowa State Patrol. 

Omaha Crime Stoppers is offering $25,000 for anonymous tips leading to an arrest in connection with the double homicide, according to a press release. Anyone with information can contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP, on www.omahacrimestoppers.org or through the P3 Tips mobile app.

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the shooting with assistance from the Omaha Police Department.
