The perpetrator of one of the worst cases of animal cruelty ever found in Daviess County began a 180-day jail sentence Monday.
Robin Hay pled guilty to 14 counts of animal cruelty, second degree on Jan. 25. She must also pay criminal restitution of more than $16,000 to the Daviess County Animal Care and Control.
