MACON, Ga — The Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner’s Office has determined that a fire in Laurens County on June 14 was intentionally set. Video surveillance shows two men setting fire to the home and vehicles in the driveway. In a press release, Georgia Insurance and Fire safety commissioner John King said, “The 1,377 square-foot 24-year-old home suffered minor exterior damages while the vehicle suffered major damages.

A $5,000 reward is being offered to help find the person responsible for the shooting death of a dog in Eagle Mountain. Lucky, a 4-year-old miniature Doberman pinscher, was shot on Saturday near his family’s home on Ute Drive. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office says a man thought he heard fireworks.
