In the footage, Lauren can be seen grabbing her own dog, which had come under attack from the pit bull, and then rushing inside with it under her arm.

Stephanie then stands in front of the raging pit bull, jumping from side-to-side to stop it going after Lauren, as she yells “bad dog!” at it.

She was making Christmas holiday drop offs in suburban Las Vegas when the terrifying confrontation unfolded, Fox5 reports.

Later, Stephanie and was reunited with Lauren and her family, who thanked her for her bravery.

“I didn’t have enough time to say thank you. I was just shaken up but I’m so glad I got to see you again and it means a lot to me,” said Lauren Ray.

Stephanie said stepping in was the instinctive thing to do and she was “just glad” to be able to help.

“The screams made me think of my own child,” she said

“I would only hope someone would jump in and help her if she was in a similar situation. I wouldn’t even think it’s motherly – it’s just the human thing to do.”

Lauren’s dad Michael Ray, a real estate agent, was sitting in his car about to show a home when he got a notification on his phone from his Ring camera

He then watched the entire incident unfold in real time on his phone.

“As a dad, you know, panic mode, I’m a half an hour away from the house,” he said.

“Literally it’s like I’m watching a football game and screaming at it. I’m like, ‘Get in the house, get in the house!’”

Stephanie went on to explain that being an Amazon driver can often mean going above and beyond delivering packages.

‘PANIC MODE’

“Two days prior I had been bit by a dog, two days before that I had saved a baby that wasn’t even two-years-old yet, locked in a house,” she said.

“I mean, we really go through a lot, and we’re there when other people aren’t, and sometimes it’s not even recognized.

“I have a co-worker who put out a fire the other day. It’s just we’re really there when sometimes nobody’s there.”

Amazon workers together with the local courier company, 702 Logistics, showed their appreciation for Stephanie’s actions.

They gave her family with four tickets to a special Las Vegas Christmas attraction in the city – the Enchanted Christmas at the Las Vegas Ball Park.

“We saw that video and honestly that was something that I’ve never seen before,” a representative from Amazon said.

“And just appreciate your service to Amazon and really to your community.”
