7 suspects wanted in 2 burglaries in Arapahoe County

About $118,000 in items and cash was stolen in two separate home burglaries, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Investigators are trying to identify seven people who are wanted in connection with two home burglaries, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday.

The first burglary happened around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 6500 block of South Rifle Street. 

Four burglars, three men and a woman, smashed a sliding glass door and rummaged through bedroom closets and dressers, the sheriff’s office said. Jewelry valued at $6,000 was stolen.

The burglars left the scene in a newer-model silver Nissan Altima. They are wanted on suspicion of burglary, criminal mischief and theft.

The second burglary took place around 10:30 a.m. March 23 in the 6300 block of South Havana Street, the sheriff’s office said.

Three men entered the apartment by prying open the front door and stole a large amount of cash, a designer handbag, jewelry and a computer. The total value of the stolen items was more than $112,000.

They are wanted on suspicion of possession of burglary tools used to facilitate entry, burglary, criminal mischief and theft.
