A family in Fresno was appalled Tuesday morning when they woke up to see their family bridge had been stolen overnight.

The family says the bridge is very special to them and that the husband, who is a veteran of Desert Storm, built the whole thing by hand 8 yeas ago.

Zenaida says her husband, who suffers from PTSD, likes to build projects like this to keep his mind distracted.

He has been in a deep depression since the bridge was stolen.

The bridge had lots of memories the family would take pictures, the grankids would play on it, every holiday the bridge was a major part of our memories and now some selfish individual or individuals felt they had the right to steal it Which is totally wrong!

The family says the bridge is fairly large and that it had to be at least a 2-man job.

They hope the person or people responsible are found and held accountable.

A reward is being offered if the bridge is found.
