ALL RIGHT. THE HOLIDAYS ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. AND ONE WAY TO CELEBRATE IT IS WATCHING THE HOLIDAY CLASSIC ELF. TODAY, THE ORGANIZATION CALLED IT REVOLVED AROUND HELD ITS FIRST CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. IT HAPPENED IN WINSTON-SALEM AT THE MARKET PLACE CINEMAS INSTEAD OF CASH. PEOPLE GOT IN BY DONATING TO CANCER FOOD. ALL DONATIONS GO TO THE SAMARITAN MINISTRIES. PEOPLE ENJOYED A GREAT MOVIE, BUT THEY ALSO ENJOYED A SPECIAL GUEST. WELL, IT’S AN IMPORTANT THING, OBVIOUSLY, ALL YEAR LONG, BUT THIS TIME OF YEAR AS WELL, TO DO AS MUCH AS WE CAN FOR THE COMMUNITY. AND SO THIS WAS A GREAT WAY TO DO IT. AND ONE OF OUR BOARD MEMBERS IS THE SOUND DESIGNER FOR ELF. SO THAT’S HOW WE DECIDE THAT ON THE MOVIE ELF. BUT THIS WAS A GREAT PARTNERSHIP ALL AROUND, BEING ABLE TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR SAMARITAN MINISTRIES AND ALSO TO PROVIDE THINGS TO THE COMMUNITY AND HAVE A FUN SCREENING OF A FILM THAT WE HAVE A CONNECTION TO PEOPLE WITH DONATED AT LEAST 400 CANS OF FOO
