Police: 15-year-old in a stolen car crashes into homes in Northeast Philadelphia

Gloucester Township police say they charged two homeowners, for throwing a for-profit pool party on Sunday night, requesting $20 a head, with loud music, at least 100 people and armed security guards.

A North Philadelphia community gathered along with family members of 73-year-old James Lambert to call for an end to the overwhelming violence plaguing the city. Lambert died after he was beaten in the street by a group of young people, two of them are now charged.

Philadelphia has opened server cooling centers to help residents beat the dangerous summer heat.
