Greta Deane said two men who were following her pushed her down and stole her French Bulldog, Clementine. The incident occurred midday not far from Deane’s home near the intersection of Westminster Street and York Avenue on St. Paul’s east side.
Deane told KARE 11 that she and Clementine have been through everything together over the last seven years.
“I begged, I begged, and in that moment, it’s like there was no animosity, no hatred, no hard feelings. I just was desperate for him to stop and not take her,” Deane recalled.
According to Deane, Clementine was “pretty beat up” but expected to be “discharged and will be able to go home together and rest tonight safe and sound.”
