Bianca Carrasco was last seen by her husband walking away from their northeast side home after they had an argument, she was never seen again.
SAN ANTONIO — May 1 of this year marks the eighth year that Bianca Carrasco has been missing. Carrasco was last seen by her husband, walking away from their Northeast side home after they had an argument. Carrasco was never seen again.
Family and friends of Bianca say they won’t stop making noise, until they find out what happened to her.
Earlier this month, the nonprofit Season of Justice put up a billboard as a reminder to the community that Bianca’s case remains unsolved. Tonight family and friends also want law enforcement to take notice.
“The more the family and friends make noise, the more they feel pressure to do something about it,” said Julie Stinson, Bianca’s friend.
Saturday afternoon, those friends and family held an outreach event for Bianca Carrasco under the billboard featuring her missing persons case on I-10 near Wurzbach Road.

“It’s hard that she’s not here. It’s still kind of unbelievable,” said Stinson. “And then they’re just gone. I mean driving in yesterday and the billboard and seeing her up there, it just kind of just gave me chills,” said Stinson.
Saturday’s outreach event is one of two planned underneath Bianca’s billboard by the nonprofit Search and Support San Antonio.
“As we stand here under the gaze of Bianca’s Billboard, we were reminded of the power of community and unity during times of adversity. Presence here today not just signifies a show of support, but also a commitment to finding justice and finding answers for Bianca and her family,” said Lori Wittmeyer, Case Intake Manager, Search and Support San Antonio.
Stinson says not having answers has been frustrating and is calling for justice not just for Bianca, but for her children too.
“I know that the kids have been made to understand that she just left, because she doesn’t want to be a mom and be their mom anymore. Bianca was not perfect, but she would have never just left, and left her kids,” said Stinson.
The nonprofit says Saturday’s event serves as a beacon of hope.
“We will not give up until we find the truth. If we work together as a community, we are able to perhaps share Bianca’s story far and wide, to encourage those to come forward those with information,” said Wittmeyer. “We will not give up until we find the truth.
