New age-progressed photo in search for missing San Antonio child, Lina Khil

SAN ANTONIO – It’s been over two years since 3-year-old Lina Khil went missing and an age-progressed photo has been released.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children released a photo on Monday that shows what they believe Lina would look like at 5 years old.

Lina’s family says it looks exactly as they imagine she’d look right now.

Lina vanished on Dec. 20, 2021 while playing in the playground of an apartment complex off Fredericksburg Road near the Medical Center. She was last known to be wearing a red dress and a black jacket.

Back in February, San Antonio Police investigators received a new tip about Lina’s disappearance, prompting a search on the greenway off Gardendale St. and Bluemel Rd, just a couple blocks away from where she vanished.

The search turned up nothing.

The hope is the new sketch will help someone remember something and contact police.

Crime Stoppers offers a guaranteed $55,000 reward until December 23, 2026 for this case only, for information resulting in the arrest of indictment of a suspect accused of any involvement in her disappearance. Call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP (7867).
