Police confirmed the baby boy is in good health and is being transported to a hospital to be checked out.

According to police, the child was found in the same reported stolen Honda and wearing his same clothes.

Police said the suspect, 24-year-old Nalah Jackson, is accused of taking Kason and his twin brother Ky’air on Monday, Dec. 19 when she stole a car from the parking lot of a restaurant.

The first twin, Ky’air, was located at the Dayton International Airport on Tuesday. Authorities said the baby was found in the airport’s economy parking lot in a car seat by a passenger and brought him inside to an airport attendant.

Butler Township medics were called to check on the child and he was returned to his family.

The search for missing Kason continued for two more days as multiple state and federal agencies were called in to assist with state-wide Amber Alert.

Police said Jackson was arrested in Indiana around 2 p.m. Thursday, but the infant was not with her.

Indianapolis police said Jackson was positively identified by police and the FBI through fingerprints.

Deputy Chief Smith Weir said investigators received several calls Thursday morning on their tip line from people saying they had spotted Jackson. The callers then got ahold of police in Indianapolis who eventually found her on Interstate 65, north of the city’s downtown area.

Police said Jackson is currently being questioned and can’t release any further information at this time.

During the press conference, Columbus detectives said local officers were headed to Indianapolis to retrieve Jackson.

It is unclear why the suspect traveled to Indiana, police said.

The FBI offered a $10,000 reward for information that led to finding Kason.

“Kason Thomass was found alive and safe tonight in Indianapolis near a Papa John’s pizza location. We are grateful to the public for their help throughout this investigation, and for the tireless work of our officers and our many partner agencies. They never stopped, never gave up hope, and would not rest until Kason was found. We are beyond thankful for their relentless dedication,” Columbus police Chief Elaine Bryant said.

The Emergency Operation Center will remain open even though Kason has been found.
