Ethan Beckman, the last person to see Dubois alive, according to the release, was arrested on March 29, 2021 for tampering with evidence and is currently in jail on a $850,000 bond.

Dubois was last seen on March 7, 2021. That same day, Dubois spoke to his girlfriend and let her know he was going to be with Beckman, but never returned home the next day, according to a MySA report. After Dubois’ girlfriend spoke with police, they contacted Beckman, who told police the two were at a construction site by Dubois home on Homestead Parkway and Somervell.

Dubois was entered as a missing person on March 9, 2021. After conflicting stories to police, detectives took Beckman’s 2019 Volkswagon Jetta GTI that was involved in a crash on March 8, 2021, and found someone tried to clean the vehicle. Blood was found on and around the passenger seat, according to the report.

In March 2021, the Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers increased the reward for information on Dubois’ disappearance to $10,000, according to the report. MySA reached out to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office for more information.
