Reward offered for information on missing Walker County man

A missing persons search is underway for an Oakman man who was reported missing earlier this month.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office said 44-year-old Milton Daniel Frost was reported missing by his landlord on March 2.

The sheriff’s office said Frost’s landlord waited over a month since the last time Frost was seen to file the report.

Since the time the report was made, the sheriff’s office said its investigative division has been assisted by patrol, narcotics agents, the aviation unit, S.W.A.T., as well as surrounding agencies and K-9 units.

The sheriff’s office said these efforts have led to the following: over 40 witness interviews, six search warrants, 15 days of foot searches, three uses of the aviation unit helicopter, two uses of cadaver K-9 units, 10 drone flights, data extracted from eight phones, and five incidental arrests.

Frost is described as a white man who is about 6’01”, weighs 185 pounds. He has blue eyes, and brown hair. Frost was last seen in the Kings Mill Road area driving a beige/tan 2007 Hyundai Azera with an Alabama tag: 64DY501.

The sheriff’s office said it is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to finding Mr. Frost. Monday, the FBI will begin assisting with the search.
