Ducklings saved from storm drain in South Strabane

An adorable rescue took place Sunday when firefighters in Washington County saved several ducklings that had taken a tumble down a storm drain.The South Strabane Fire Department posted pictures of the four ducklings rescued on Facebook. The department worked with police and medics to pull off the “quick and safe exit.””Don’t worry, Firefighter Brandan gave a brief safety presentation about travel safety with mom before clearing the scene,” the department wrote.Firefighters in the area have been busy with fires and landslides this spring.
