UPDATE: $25,000 reward offered for tips that lead to arrest in Crystal Rogers case – ABC 36 News

UPDATE: (8/28/21) – A $25,000 reward is being offered for tips leading to arrests in the investigation into Crystal Rogers’ disappearance.

On Saturday FBI Louisville tweeted about its support from the Bardstown community over the past week..thanking them for donations of food and a flood of tips.

Adding they know there are people who know specific information about crystals disappearance and want to do the right thing.

The FBI announced Friday that it had uncovered an “item of interest” on the fourth day of digging in a nelson county subdivision.

Rogers first disappeared back in 2015…her boyfriend Brooks Hauck was the only suspect named in the case at that time.

UPDATE (8/27/21 10:30 A.M.) – The FBI has found an “item of interest” during a property search for missing Bardstown mother Crystal Rogers.

According to FBI Louisville, the discovery was made during day four of the search at the Woodlawn Springs subdivision. The bureau has not identified what the “item of interest” is at this time.

The FBI began searching a Bardstown neighborhood earlier this week in connection to information regarding the disappearance of Rogers. The property was built by suspect Brooks Houck around the time of his then-girlfriend’s 2015 disappearance.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ/WHAS) -The FBI is searching a Bardstown neighborhood for evidence in connection to the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.

According to FBI Louisville, based on information collected during the last year by the federal investigation into the disappearance of Crystal Rogers, FBI Louisville is now conducting several searches in the Woodlawn Springs subdivision in Bardstown.

WHAS in Louisville said a team from FBI Louisville is searching the neighborhood with cadaver dogs.

FBI Louisville provided the following statement:

“Based on information gathered by the federal investigation over the last year, FBI Louisville is now conducting several searches in the Woodlawn Springs subdivision.  We are not providing the specific addresses of the searches in an effort to protect the privacy of the affected homeowners. These residents are not considered suspects.”

Crystal Rogers, a mother of five, went missing over Fourth of July weekend in 2015. Though still considered a missing person case, police are working under the assumption Rogers is dead.
