Lorenzo Johnson, the 63-year-old Lufkin man accused of abusing a dog in a viral video earlier this month, was given back his dogs Wednesday following a hearing in Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Donnie Puckett’s courtroom.
The video showed a man accused of being Johnson whipping a dog. The woman who recorded it, Taryn Cantu, said she filed reports with law enforcement in hopes of helping the animals.
