Man, woman face child cruelty charges after search warrant


Both are charged with cruelty to children due to the conditions of the home, which had a juvenile living there.
Sparta Police Child Cruelty Arrests

SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)-  A man and woman in Sparta are behind bars due to outstanding warrants, and they’re now facing child cruelty charges.

Wednesday morning, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, along with Sparta Police, arrested 20-year-old Daquan Kemp and 34-year-old Terria Mills during a search warrant at home on Bell Street.

They were wanted for probation violation out of Glascock County.

Kemp faces multiple charges, including burglary, possession and use of drug-related objects and theft by receiving.

Both are charged with cruelty to children due to the conditions of the home, which had a juvenile living there.
