Reward offered for information on Sunday shooting

Kinston law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in connect with a Sunday shooting.

On Sunday around 4 a.m., a 23-year-old man arrived at UNC Lenoir Health Care with a single gunshot wound to his right leg. The man has not be identified at this time.

The gunshot victim, who is reportedly from Snow Hill, refused to provide officers with any information about where the shooting happened or any information on the alleged shooter, according to a release from the Kinston Police Department.

The man was transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
