Anne Arundel County family offers reward for stolen, injured dog

TONIGHT, AN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY WOMAN IS ASKING FOR YOUR HELP FINDING HER DOG THAT SHE SAYS WAS STOLEN. MARIA SAINT GERMAIN SAYS HER HUSBAND TOOK THEIR GERMAN SHEPHERD, LUNA, TO THE DOG PARK YESTERDAY WHEN ANOTHER DOG WHO WAS OFF LEASH ATTACKED LUNA. LUNA THEN BROKE FREE AND RAN BACK HOME, WHERE SHE WAITED ON THE STOOP. SAINT GERMAIN SAYS ON HER DOORBELL CAMERA. HERE YOU CAN SEE A MAN GET OUT OF A WHITE TRUCK AND LOOK AT LUNA’S TAGS, AND THEN HE GRABS HER, PLACES HER IN HIS TRUCK, AND THEN DRIVES AWAY. The family said their dog was stolen off their front porch in Odenton Friday evening.

An Anne Arundel County family is offering a $1,500 reward to find their dog, Luna. The family said they had their dog at the dog park when she was attacked by another dog, broke free from her owners, and ran home on her own. Once at the house, the family said a man took the injured dog and drove away. The family believes the man spotted the hurt dog and followed her home to try and help her, not realizing she was at her owner’s house.A doorbell video, given to 11 News by the owners, shows their German Shepherd on their stoop before a man pulled up in a white pickup truck and lured the dog into the vehicle. “If somebody sees her, if they can reach out to us, to their local vet, shelter, wherever you can, let somebody know you’ve come across her, seen her, any information, no questions asked,” said Maria St. Germain, the owner of Luna. “If you have her, if you see her, we will absolutely work with you, we just want to get her back.”This happened around 4 p.m. Friday near Riverscape at Piney Orchard in Odenton. Anyone with information is asked to contact Anne Arundel County Police Department.
