Corpus Christi Police Department sent out a Facebook post asking for help. Saturday marks two months since the college student first went missing.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department is asking individuals who believe they see missing person Caleb Harris, to immediately call 911 or the non-emergency line at 361-886-2600.

The department put out a message on social media saying that this will allow MetroCom personnel to dispatch officers as soon as possible to investigate the sighting.

Saturday marks two months since Harris disappeared from his apartment complex on Ennis Joslin Road.

Since then, numerous search efforts have taken place as CCPD continues to investigate tips that come in on the case.

The 21-year-old is a Texas A&M Corpus Christi student is an avid fisherman and also has a passion for music and cooking.

Caleb’s family is also offering a $50-thousand dollar reward for any information that can help bring him home.

His father, Randy Harris told 3NEWS he is not losing faith that his son will be found and encourages other to continue to pray.

“That God is keeping him safe, that is our hope that we will see him soon, and God is taking care of him , and if someone has him that they will have mercy on him and allow us to have our boy back,” he said.

Harris said the police investigation into his son’s disappearance has not slowed and that he stays in close contact with CCPD and shares any credible tips he might receive.

“I’m sharing, I get personal text, social media, screen shots, I’m always sharing information with them, we text every day quite a bit and meeting with them at least once a week, they have daily meetings about the case,” he said.

Randy also told 3NEWS police are investigating any possible sightings.

“A credible gentleman that feels like he did see him a little later in the morning around 3:30 down the street a little further, again, extremely foggy night, that early in the morning, its possible, not counting anything out, but you just don’t know,” he said.

Harris was recently in Corpus Christi visiting with homeless individuals at churches and at a downtown park.

He said they’re providing boots on the ground in the search – helping more than they may realize.

“That was a great group of people, they’re so sweet, genuinely have a passion to help with Caleb, they know the story, immediately we show up they just knew,” he said.

Authorities are also combing through tons of digital and electronic information that’s been collected.

“They do have his laptop, watch, iPad, they are looking at everything even his Xbox,” he said.

But even things like cell phone data brings legal hurdles.

A timeline previously provided by police showing his last cell phone ping was at 3:12 am the morning he went missing.

“That has been frustrating because we are very impatient, but that takes time, of course time is not on our side.  Some of those warrants and subpoenas take more than a month and every time you get a new data dump it creates more warrants and subpoenas that is actively happening,” he said.

This investigation is a multi-agency effort from CCPD to U.S. Marshals, FBI, Texas Rangers, to now the U.S. Secret Service.

“They’re really good at cellular data, after 9-11 the secret service expanded their capabilities to help investigations with digital data.  They come in when they are needed, I believe there is an agent locally who helps, they are involved, they more so with the FBI is partnered with them pretty heavy,” he said.

If you have other information or tips, you should continue to use the Caleb Harris Tipline at 361-826-2950 or report the tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 361-888-TIPS (888-8477).
