On February 26, Xavier Breland reported her missing after returning to Indiana.

The FBI says there is no evidence Ciera Breland made the trip back to Indiana with her husband.

The bureau is now increasing the reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Ciera Breland to $10,000.

Xavier Breland has been named a person of interest in his wife’s disappearance, but has not been charged in connection to the case. He is currently in jail on an unrelated stalking charge.

A cousin of Ciera Breland’s, Luke Locklair, told Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne earlier this month that their family fears the worst has happened to the young lawyer.

“She would’ve reached out by now. She’s a really smart girl,” Locklair said. “It’s been really hard. I really don’t think anybody knows how to deal with it. We never expected anything like this to happen to our family.”

Ciera Breland was last seen at 10545 Highgate Manor Ct. on Feb. 24 at 7:17 p.m. She was driving a white 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with GA Tag RMB 5869.
