Missing Woman Left Tropicana With Shooting Suspect: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — Investigators are looking for a missing, endangered woman last seen with the suspect of Monday night’s Tropicana plant shooting, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.

Elecia Nicole Bing, 38, left the facility on 9th Street E. in Bradenton with Demetrius Bell, 50, after he shot a coworker around 10:30 p.m. She also works at the plant.

“We are concerned for her safety,” police said.

Bing stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow safety shirt and blue jeans.

When they left the plant, Bell was driving a 2015 black Camaro with a Florida license plate that read QUQF97.

Warrants have been issued for Bell, who faces charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
