A 59-year-old woman is missing out of Sanders County, officials shared on Facebook on Tuesday.
Stephanie Turner was last seen on Dec. 23, according to a neighbor, the Sanders County Sheriff’s Office reported in a Facebook post. Turner is a Paradise resident. She has family throughout Montana, and also in Kansas.
She was reported missing on Dec. 25 by a family member, the sheriff’s office stated.
Turner is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing roughly 140 pounds, according to an entry for her case in the Montana Missing Persons Database. She’s white, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff’s Facebook post says Turner has experienced mental health issues in the past. She’s known to usually wear a black, puffy winter coat that’s knee-length.
Sanders County Sheriff Shawn Fielders said in a phone call that law enforcement doesn’t have information leading us to believe Turner is out of state at this point, but it’s hard to know what direction she might have gone. He said her family asked the sheriff’s office to post about her on social media.
