Kierra Coles: $49K reward offered in pregnant postal worker’s unsolved 2018 disappearance

The family of a pregnant Illinois woman who has been missing since October 2018 announced on Sunday that a $49,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Kierra Coles, 26, was three months pregnant when she was last seen walking out of her Chicago apartment in her postal worker uniform, despite calling out of work that day. Surveillance cameras caught her walking past her car before she went out of view and vanished.

WLS reported that Coles’ car was found where she last parked it — with her phone, purse, and lunch inside.

In July 2020, Chicago police reportedly said the search for Coles was suspended as they had exhausted all their leads. However, they later clarified to the Chicago Tribune that they are working with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the FBI in this case.

Foul play is suspected to be involved in Coles’ disappearance. No arrests have been made.

Coles was described as being approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. She has a heart tattoo on her right hand and another that says “Lucky Libra” on her back.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should call Chicago police’s Special Victim Unit at 312-747-8274.
