Reward offered after £7,000-worth of fireworks stolen

A West Cumbrian business is appealing for help after £7,000-worth of fireworks were stolen from its trade counter.

Forth, which celebrates its 21st anniversary this month, has expanded its trade counter at its Flimby headquarters to stock the fireworks in stock ahead of Bonfire Night.

Scott Telford, Forth’s workforce development manager, said the fireworks, which were stolen last week, are easily identifiable.

Scott said: “The fireworks are very specific to ourselves and it’s unlikely you could buy the same ones in Cumbria.

“There will be a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible and the recovery of any of our fireworks.”

New stock has been purchased and is now on sale to the public.

Anyone with information about the missing fireworks is asked to contact police on 101.
