Reward offered for information in February killing of Montgomery woman

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding the person or people responsible for the killing of a Montgomery woman.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Thursday announced a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the identification of a suspect in the Feb. 11 shooting death of 52-year-old Yvette Carter.

Officers and fire medics were dispatched at 10:35 p.m. that Saturday to the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue, said Maj. Saba Coleman. They arrived to find Carter dead from a gunshot wound.
