The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says another ATM in Hinckley was ripped open using a stolen pickup truck early Sunday morning. This time it was at the Resource Bank branch on E. Lincoln Ave, or Route 30. The sheriff’s office says the truck was stolen from Somonauk. Police are not sure on how much money was stolen.
Police believe there is more than one suspect. Sheriff Andy Sullivan noted that it is still an active investigation.
Anyone with information can leave a tip with DeKalb County Crime Stoppers without giving their name. Crime Stoppers can pay a reward of up to $1000 for information. The number to call if you have information is 815-895-3272.
There was another ATM theft where a pickup truck was used to rip the machine open in Hinckley last month at another business on Route 30. Police said a stolen truck was used then too.
